I Am Natalie Arroyo, a fierce, independent, capable 21-year-old from Boston with a passion for modeling. Born to Dominican and Puerto Rican parents, I learned to be competitive and passionate in everything I do. That passion, competitive spirit, and determination played a crucial role in school sports as I grew up. The first sport I fell in love with was soccer back in middle school, and then I found a passion for volleyball throughout my high school years as it became my favorite sport. One thing about me is that I am always willing to take a chance. Learning new things has never been an issue, and giving up is never an option. I became independent at the age of 16, and at such a young age maturing was obligatory. Modeling then became an option of expression for me. As a young Latina, I have learned to express my personality in different ways, may it be through seasonal clothing or hairstyles, makeup, photography, music videos, or runways. There is always something new and empowering about modeling, and my goals are to be an inspiring figure, a role model, and a leader for young Latina women across all platforms. I hope to build an unbreakable bond with self-confidence and versatility and to be able to pour the knowledge and experiences learned over time to all the young women looking for a way out. I want to be able to improve my network and become a well-known and respected supermodel in the fashion industry, an icon. Modeling has given me the tools to excel and become the Natalie I Am today. It has given me a feeling that I can’t explain, but it’s a powerful and untradeable feeling as if no one can stop me or bring me down, and this feeling is what I want young Latina women to feel.
